The text wasn't long and some of the ideas have come true but I still think there is more to be done.
Legalizing and a safe distribution method of weed will go a hella long way towards getting the country out of debt, giving our farmers a cash crop and getting a whole lot of people out of pain that refused to partake as long as it was illegal. I for one am looking forward to the spin off business from it being marketing - packaging and design boosts to the market place. Embracing hemp would do wonders for our economy and ecology and it will also position Canada in a great place for smoke friendly tourism as well.Release people from prison in for pot related crimes and crack down on hard core drugs. The money we save from not paying to incarcerate pot smokers will be a boon as well.Hemp seed is an exceptional clean protein with lots of excellent EFA's. The oil is lovely for cooking. Hemp for paper, fuel, fabric. Saves our forests and doesn't require pesticides to grow.
Today more than ever the need for hemp and specifically hempcrete to be used in home building in fire proned zones is critical.
