Just trying to book an appointment and shaking my head.
December 13, 2023 and you can't make this shit up.
So I've been wanting to get my hair cut for months and my mobility has been the shits. Combine that with trying to find a hairdresser locally and well I really need a cut. Suggestion from a friend - why not look for someone that does mobile cuts? Hey good idea says me. Off I go to look for someone locally.
So I find someone one and oh they only have a FB page, sure ok small outfit. Go to FB page and bugger all details. You have to post that you want info so then they approve the post just to say they PM'd you. Got the PM with the rates - sure ok. I'd like to book an appointment. When they PM back. Reply right away with preferred times if possible.... no reply. Today finally hear back from them at noon. I do these days after these times. Great! Does that Thursday include tomorrow? What time she asks? 2:30 says me (inside of specified time frame). That was 2 hours ago. No reply, no sorry that won't work, no sorry I'll have to get back to you - just dead fucking air.
Maybe this is a sign to run the fuck away because this person clearly is not interested in any kind business.
UPDATE: I should have run the fuck away! She gets in touch with me on the Thursday would today be OK. Stupidly my desire for a cut out weighed my common sense and I said yes. Now when she arrived my hair was 6 - 8" past my shoulders in a bob I didn't want from the last gal that only knew one cut. Repeated told her and showed pic of what I did want ie long layers but layers, take a couple inches off and layer it all through. I DO NOT WANT A BOB! What did she do you ask? She took off about 10" in the back layered then DID NOT layer the sides and left it in - yup a fucking BOB. Of course zero replies when I ask her to share a pick of how she envisioned this cut being styled because for $45 + tip she also didn't style the hair after or even sweep it up.
